What surprisses me in a positive way is this:

"17 11 VIVA PIÑATA MICROSOFT"

From 17 they did rise to 11. The game is setup very good, it looks very colourfull with nice graphics. I hope it'll sell a lot more over time.

Rare deserves it. They brought this fresh new IP to the 360 and they'll bring more in the future. At least it didn't go the way that Psychonauts went. The best platformer of all time and it sold so few... Although Psychonauts will probably be supported with backward compatibility on the 360 soon and I hope Psychonauts 2 will come to the 360 again!

The great 17025d ago

If the Xbots have any sense Crackdown will never be no.1 in their charts, why you say i just saw some screenshots of the game, please don't tell me it's another comic style animation game, i'm gonna laugh if so, really! then again there starved of great games they will jump at the 1st game they se, and to marty above viva piniata for the love of gamming that's pathetic, i know your 40, live with your Xbox infact your married to it and you hump it no doubt, sorry that doesn't count Marty, you should try PS3 the greatest console of all time, i mean if Viva Piniata is good in your eyes, you really have to play PS3.

BIadestarX7025d ago

can people have less than 1 bubble? Well, to keep the momentum going; I will give you negative feedback.
I'm planning to get a PS3 soon and already have a 360. Here is the definition of a fanboy: Someone that believes that good games can only be made on their console of choice. If "Crackdown" would be on the PS3 would you be humping the Disk Case; but since it's not it must be bad? Seriously some of you need a life. Also, viva pinatas is a great game, and to make this worth having it's the only game for all consoles for people that like games like (at least for now). Nothing wrong can be said about a game that can't be compared to anything else and people seem to like.

Contra267024d ago

fall of man is alright.
motor storm seems slow...really.. and freezes..
that NBA game... just horrible.

yeah i tried the PS3. I'll buy it when It's worth it

Viva Pinata is a good game.. you should try that

5 Capcom Games that Deserve the Resident 2 2019 Treatment

Resident Evil 2 2019 launches in a few short weeks and it looks, and plays, amazing. Capcom has taken the classic and renowned title and not only modernized the visuals but added new content to keep the experience fresh for veterans who played the original. But there are some games that deserve the same treatment from Capcom. Here are 5 games from Capcom that deserve the Resident Evil 2 2019 treatment.

Not another one of these “treatment” articles

Remasters are still popular so... yeah.

I personally like when there are remastered compilations. More than just remaking one game but to take a couple (or more) in a series and remake them as one nice compilation. Viewtiful Joe comes to mind. to have a full remake of all the games on one disc would be sweet.

I know many want to see Powerstone come back (as do I) but i'd go even deeper into their vault and bring back darkstalkers, cyberbots or even project justice / rival schools combo.

FallenAngel19842684d ago

This isn’t a remaster it’s a remake

galmi2685d ago

well for me there's
dino crisis
clock tower
haunting ground
resident evil 3
the whole onimusha series (except 4)
chaos legion
crimson tears
ring of red

PapaBop2685d ago

Imagine Clock Tower done in a similar style to RE7 in first person with VR support.. that would be so so damn good.

SuperDuke12902685d ago

That would be superawesome

JonTheGod2685d ago

I loved Haunting Ground. Very underrated.

Adexus2685d ago

Onimusha instantly came to mind.

JonTheGod2685d ago

Already happening (although it's a remaster as opposed to a remake).

Adexus2684d ago

Yeeeah, I definitely wouldn't say that's nearly on the level the RE2 Remake is.

monkey6022685d ago (Edited 2685d ago )

This is a horrible list!
There are a load of titles far more deserving of a remaster than these picks. Seriously ! Dead Rising, Lost Planet and Dragons Dogma aren't even old games and have had recent sequels already!

Top of the list should be Dino Crisis,
I'll accept Resi 3 because I'm hoping that happens.
Clock tower and Haunting Ground are good choices too, It would be nice to be able to get them for a non extortionate rate.

Shadow of Rome was an amazing game and I'd love a remaster or new entry but I genuinely don't think they'd get away with it today unless it was massively toned down

Vetalka832685d ago

Resident Evil 3 yes,Dino Crisis games?Yes.Onimusha 2 hell yes.never got to play Powerstone properly so yeah i would love to see it remade, others on that list i just dont care about.

Have to admit I haven't played most of these.

TuxedoMoon4570d ago

The only game I've played on that list was DMC:dmc and that game was over-hyped imo. I wanted to play Deathsmiles, but it's only on 360, a console I refuse to buy due to the whole RROD and having to pay for online. I don't buy faulty systems.

Other than those and maybe The Darkness, those games simply don't appeal to me at all. Are they bad games? Doubt it, but those are games I'd never buy. Correction, I'll PLAY (try) any game, but I won't BUY just any game.

sdozzo4570d ago

Had to take that jab with RROD. And I'm a Sony guy, but I wouldn't even bring that knife to a gun fight.

TuxedoMoon4570d ago

I'm talking about when the 360 just came out, before the redesign slim version. I don't have that much money and seeing my friend's 360s die out made me not want it. I'm not going to pay $300+ for a system that has a high chance of dying.

Then there's having to pay for XBL. I'm cheap, so that's a huge NOPE! The games too didn't appeal to me either, aside from from Lost Odyssey? I like Japanese games and there weren't a lot of those on the 360.

Weighing the games too, the PS3 and Wii had more game's I wanted. Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear 4, FF 13VS and potential KH3, Mario Galaxy, and Smash bros Brawl all won me over to those systems. The PS3 also not being region locked really opened the import gates for me.

I did also spend a chunk on PC too. Mainly F2P MMOs and the few steam PC games I could find for cheap.

PoSTedUP4570d ago (Edited 4570d ago )

i really liked The Darkness, awesome concept imo. same with Clide (Clive?) Barkers Jerico and Time Shift, all three were underrated imo. pure was ok, still liked atv offroad fury and motorstorm a lot more.

would have Really loved to see a 4x4 Evo 3 this gen. if nintendo secures it as an exclusive again, i sware im buying a WiiU!

@tuxedo again: if you dont have a PSP still, thats the best platform for JRPGs imo, Its still very relevant if youre into handheld, and cheap now. the DS too. im still yet to get a 3DS, it has a lot of cool games.

Hicken4570d ago

Yeah, we had a nice collector's edition of DeathSmiles at my GameStop for a while. I contemplated getting it, but.. you know, Microsoft.

As something of a Witchblade fan, I wanted to play The Darkness games... just never did.

DmC... sorry, but no. It deviated too far from the DMC formula for me.

Bullet Witch is another 360 game I've wanted to get my hands on. Eventually, I guess. Eventually.

The rest either didn't interest me, or I never heard of them.

PoSTedUP4570d ago

david jaffe-"life of a pixel". haha thats my bro, keeping it old school!

urwifeminder4570d ago

Yep Battlestations was a innovative title never played anything like it one of the best games I have ever played both are great.

Collector's Corner: Lost Planet Extreme Condition Collector's Edition

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was released in Europe in 2007 as an Xbox 360 exclusive, though it would later come to other systems as well. Aside from the regular version, a Collector’s Edition was made available, which includes an art book and a steel case, and early access to free multiplayer maps, as well as a soundtrack cd.
