I have to say, I really like the Developers direct format.

It does not involve long boring segments, you get a bit more personal with the developers behind it and you also get a fair amount of gameplay footage, combined with some great music and video editing.

As regards the games themselves, Indiana looked very interesting and I liked that they choose first person view.

Hellblade was the graphical powerhouse of the direct and the atmosphere was surreal at time (certain struggling scenes)

Avowed was..interesting. The animations seem a bit funny and relate to older gen rpgs, however the setting is very unique and the battle may be actually addictive (twin magic wands style looked very cool).

We´re heading into another fantastic year for Xbox and PC players!

I can´t wait!!!

The 3 year debate whether Indy was going on other consoles is over its Xbox and PC. I was expecting Uncharted type of gameplay, which is there but it also looks more varied. Hell Blade 2 is in May cool I called that one. My only concern about that game, in which was something that they mentioned, was the length. How short will it be exactly?

Fall 2024 releases once again while having another game releasing in he spring (Hell Blade.) Way better games shown compared to last year No doubt but lack of concrete release dates still plagues them. That means these games can still get delayed or moved around still.

Hell Blade 2 digital only!... Smh.

Ratings out of 10 for the show as a whole? Gets a 7/10 from me:

Hellblade looks epic, and glad we got a solid release date confirmed
Avowed continues to look great, but felt like there wasn't much there I didn't already know/ assume with it being Obsidian
Was indifferent about Visions of Mana
Ara looks like a pretty astonishing feat, but personally not my kind of game
Indie looks like it's captured the vibe and personality of the movies brilliantly, but I didn't leave feeling all that impressed?

Damn, that was insane.

The show was just ok for me. The gameplay in Avowed looked cheap including the graphics, so it's a pass for me. Hellblade 2 looks pretty much the same just with enhanced graphics. I have no interest in ARA. Indiana Jones looks like an average game. I wish Machine Games would have just made another Wolfenstein game.Visions Of Mana is multi-plat. I grade the Direct a weak C.

All I saw was a bunch of over paid game developers, playing in their expensive offices.
It makes perfect sense why the Saudi's pulled out of Embracer.

Dear Bethesda. Avowed is what your games SHOULD look like by now.

Avowed (awesome looking world) and Indiana Jones for me. Would have been cooler if Indiana was 3rd person tho, just a personal preference.

Some nice games but really nothing we didn't already know about. Sauna always looks. Nice but not my type of game. Obsidian yeah I could do that, let's hope it plays better than the bore fest outer worlds. Indian Jones, is the best of the bunch to be honest.

Gotta to say that this lots look good. Good to see that MS is trying to bring good game games

Well, I have to admit that was a solid showing of first party titles. I was very impressed with how solid Avowed looked and the remainder of the show was pretty great too.

Hellblade 2 is the first game that looks current gen on Series X.

Indiana Jones looks really good I'm not really the target for avowed and such hope people enjoy it but I just like Indy on this one.

Also good to finally have hellblade 2 dated not really interested but so many people are hyped and it looks stunning I just don't gel with the source material all the mental health stuff makes me back off

Avowed is looking good, Hellblade 2 also looking like a banger! Visions of Mana looks like a good time and Indy looks decent.

Are all these day 1 on game pass?

I’m gonna say this is maybe the best Xbox showcase ever. Everything looked great that they showed. I’m so stoked for indy. Avowed looked so much better than the last time it was shown. Hellblade looks like maybe the best graphics I’ve seen in a game to date. Really excited and also excited to see what PlayStation ends up having down the pipeline.

That was…actually pretty solid! Not too shabby Microsoft.

It’s about time they started putting out stuff.

Avowed is looking better than previous trailers. And I'm impressed with Indiana Jones that I want a new Uncharted game because of it. Hellblade II is still underwhelming in my honest opinion.
