The latest update for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 is now available for consoles (it was released for PC on December 20th of 2023). On the official Metal Gear portal site, Konami has provided an overview of all the changes this update (1.4.0) brings.
Ver.2.0.0 will be available for users on PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, Nintendo Switch™ & Xbox Series X|S beginning Nov. 15th, 2024.
This collection was rushed out one year too soon, what a shame. Hoping that Vol. 2 is released in a better state.

The series has reached 62.1 million total sales as of the end of September 2024.
congrats, all the games are great
MGS on playstation is still one of my favourite games
hopefully Kojima gets some profits, d*** Konami

Duuro says: "I still like that this Master Collection exists, despite its flaws. It's definitely a time-capsule and if you are hungry to experience the brilliant stealth-action saga on modern consoles, you will find much to love. But you still have to remember that this is just a re-release and what was good back then in terms of controls, might feel rather alien nowadays."
Being able to turn off the filtering for pure pixels and a scanline filter is a decent addition to MGS1. This should of been in Day 1 though.
Still no 4K60 on the other titles, so i'm not interested at all yet.
most of these updages should bave been there day1
Crazy that they still haven't fixed the analog input being limited to just 8 directions for MGS1. Glad I didn't buy it.
Still not worth it if you have the og collection
It's pathetic the games is still not patched to 4k.
