first off the 1 million EU lead doesn't come from MS it is confirmed by GFK too.

As for France the ps3 has a 100K lead but has been outsold by the 360 since september. The same situation has occured in Germany, Spain and Italy (where the 360 somehow managed to outsell the wii for a few weeks).

GFK if anything but bullshit on sony's claim they are 300K ahead in the EU.

And if you believe the 360 is only selling well in the UK and the US then you are beyond reasoning with. MS sales have increased greatly from last generation - they have never been this successful. Thats not to say the ps3 isn't doing well. It is. Isn't it good to have 3 consoles selling very well?

And if you think the ps3 has a chance of matching the wii then you are even more beyond reasoning. You think if sony cuts price then nintendo or MS won't? The only reason sony didn't respond to MS's pricecut this year is because they really couldn't have afforded too.

There are how many countries in the EU? 21 total, so that 6% would be above what the 'average' EU country number would be. (4.2% (per country, appx?)), and if you take out hte UK's 30% (I think that's the number right?) that brings the total down.. to about 3% per country as average. So Finland is double the EU average.

Does it mean that any one console has a huge advantage over another? Nope... it just means that you can take any numbers/any region and turn them one way or another, as you see fit.

france represents the second biggest gaming market in europe. almost as big as UK. also x360's fate is same in spain, germany ,italy . In spain ps3 overtook x360 in lTD hw sales in the first month of its rlease. In germany and italy too ps3 is ahead by a considerable margin. In arab world which is the biggest region in the pal region ps3 has a 80% + marketshare

U would have to be a huge fool to even believe that x360 ever sold in the arabian states after iraq war. MS surprisingly added Middle east in their pr statement. X360s selling in muslim world is the same as muslims eating pork = thing that will never happen especially after iraq war

German, italian, and numbers of other regions will be posted too and all will show that ps3 has the advantage

add in Arabian numbers and you have ps3 over x360 by a million in PAL
