Bethesda has been one of the gaming giants present in the gaming industry for the past 30 years. It used to really mean something when a Bethesda title was going to launch. But the question is, is this a deserved reaction anymore?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

If you’re having to ask yourself this question then you already know the answer.
I think the final verdict is waiting for Elder Scrolls VI
Skyrim was fantastic but I think that's where people started to catch on with the bugs and the like
Fallout 4 was a bit of a let down but maybe they'll will learn their mistakes and get a new engine, possibly stop streamlining the RPG elements to make it even more accessible.
Fallout 76 was grim, where you knew something was up and they weren't the same as before. Todd lying on stage like that, I will never not hear Little Lies by Fleetwood Mac and not think of that moment at E3.
Starfield just didn't deliver
So it's down to Elder Scrolls VI whether it's the final nail or not
I just find it funny with the way they are going, there's still people out there who scream for co-op in the mainline Elder Scrolls / Fallout games. Like they can't seem to even do a single player game, why do people still want them to take on more than they can chew. It's insane thinking.
No, they are deving less quality than the reputable indie companies out there.
Starfield left such a bad taste in my mouth im going to say “No!” to this headline. If Starfield was an xbox X launch title I would still be disappointed. Perhaps I set my expectations too high and it is what it is. Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5 or maybe even a new IP from them, could give them an opportunity to redeem themselves
Lately they haven’t been, so… if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck 🤷♂️
