Says Microsoft’s mouth piece.

Are you debating that the game doesn’t look like garbage and consistently fails to hit its 30fps target? Pretty clear from the video of gameplay that it’s borderline unplayable

That sounds pretty poor to me

S2Killinit904d ago

Im debating that they are comparing the game to a standard it wasnt meant to achieve.

_SilverHawk_904d ago

Why would anyone get third party developed games on the switch? There are cheaper and better ways to play third party games and first party games on way better portable devices.

Some people believe they are biased against Microsoft, others believe they are biased against Sony. The reality is that they're not biased at all, they may have differing opinions than you or I, and that's fine.

There's been multiple times when I've disagreed with the DF crew, but they're allowed their takes just like we're allowed ours.

Theu are very much biased in favor of MS. They use objectivity in evaluating performance, but subjectivity in choice of words in favor of MS.

What were you expecting taking a game meant for powerful systems? Like XB1 and PS4 and cramming it into a machine that doesn't even come close to the same power. I give them credit for pulling it off but people want a miracle. You are not going to get the same looking game from a PS4 on the Switch.

Good-Smurf905d ago

At least make them run decently, this seems like a game was a bit too much for Switch to handle.

badz149905d ago

Yeah...because everything is just a slider setting away, right? Gee I hope they release Alan Wake 2 next for the Switch. /s

Chocoburger905d ago

What did anyone expect? This game should have been held back for the Switch 2 launch, now that would make sense, get a better reception and eventually sell more copies.

TheEnigma313904d ago

Like I said before, buying anything outside of exclusives and indies for the switch is begging for a letdown.

shinoff2183903d ago

Agreed. My switch is for exclusives. I'm not a portable gamer, so I usually play on ps then xbox first.

I would also add Risk of Rain 2 as long as you don't stray too far from a power source as each run can be long as the hours melt away. Another thing to note is that based on the reports, the FPS may drop into the 40s if a lot of enemies are on the screen.

There is also the Half Life series. If you haven't played half-life before then you can do so now at the super low price.

Mafia was amazing looking and had a great story. Played flawlessly at 30fps as well without dips 99% of the time.

The same is true for Jedi Fallen Order

Sony games as also on sale. Picked up Rachet and Clank, cant wait to try it!
