Visual Novels have always been a niche pleasure, but don't let that prevent you from consuming some of the most peak media of all time.

HazeDenki, a team led by the creatives behind NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD including scenario writer nyalra, has announced Sister Other Paranoia, a dark visual novel coming to PC via Steam in August 2026.

Publisher ANIPLEX.EXE and developer iMel will release visual novel Seedsow Lullaby for Switch, iOS, and Android on May 1, the companies announced.

Key will release acclaimed romance visual novel AIR for PC via Steam on March 5 worldwide for 3,200 yen, the company announced. It will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.
Here's hoping the update the Switch version with English like they did with Kanon last year!
At this point we're going to get all the Key visual novels, hoping for Angel Beats! and Kud Wafter next.
Wish they would release these west. I have Clannad (Asian) for PS4 but would like AIR and Kanon physically, preferably for PlayStation but I’ll take the Switch as well with English subs.
Please, no.
The last thing VNs need is more mainstream people playing them. That is how we get those super dumb-down localizations, full of censorship.
I play them already. But I like the VN with the best stories. There is a good amount of them though. Speaking of VN bring all Muv Luv to PS5
"Play" visual novels ? You can click auto play and just watch them play out, with the odd "choice" , I wouldn't say you play them, it's basically an old choose your own adventure book but with far far far less choices to make.
I've played a lot but it sucks many are still untranslated.
Give me more Nekopara and I will play them.
