The Invincible (PC Review) - Pixel Cereal

Pixel Cereal -

The Invincible was developed by Starward Industries and published by 11-bit Studios. It’s a loose adaptation of the popular 1964 Polish novel of the same name. When I say loose adaptation, I mean that it’s almost like a complimentary adaptation of the book because as I understand it there are new or different events and characters that don’t necessarily align directly with the book. If you’re new to this channel, know that I hate spoilers and I always try to avoid them so you shouldn’t be too worried. There may be some small minor bits of information but nothing that the trailer doesn’t show you.

Any recommendations on The Invincible? Story worth investing the 10 or so hours?

Kyizen264d ago

Been wondering the same, I enjoy a laid back story based walking game but if the Story isn't interesting I dunno.

Weak, I'm keeping at my backlog :D

Don't understand the downvotes. Literally a ton of fluff-games.. No premium here whatsoever. Couldn't agree more.

Could at least put one of the God of Wars, Last of us, Ghost would be perfect for those who missed since the new is coming next month..

Missed opportunity for sure.

Ghost of tsushima is already in the catalogue
same with God of war 3, GOW 2018 and GoW Ragnarök
And for the last of us, its just TLOU 2 that is not on there.
Happy gaming :) You have been heard :D

@StoneTitan.

Yes, All of them might've been. I'm saying time to put some of them on there again! I have friends who bought ps5 now. They have none of those games. I'd rather have something new mixed with 1st party strong titles again than these fluff-games.

Each to their own but I think that's a way smarter strategy.

All of the franchises I mentioned are still ongoing btw. So why not get more and more ppl into them? I might sound arrogant but from a business perspective I feel I'm smarter than what they are putting out in this month..

The drought is here for sure. Publishers are running out of worthy games to license. All this time spent trying to do live service has set the creative senses back at least 5 years.

Awkward silence.

Get Game Pass and you can play Hollow Knight Silk Song.

Michiel1989264d ago

for 5 dollars more you can play it forever

Loktai264d ago

Imagine having to invest in a dying gaming ecosystem to play a 5 dollar game for "free"
