PlayStation 5 exclusive Quantum Error will also be released on Xbox at some point, developers Teamkill Media gives an update on the Xbox version and why the Series S is a major issue.

Zach from WellPlayed writes "Quantum Error is a flawed, frustrating and unfun slog that collapses under the weight of its lofty ambitions to blend multiple genres and mechanics on a limited budget and developing skillset."

NoobFeed Editor Simon Estey writes - Quantum Error is too ambitious to the detriment of basic features. It wants to be a survival horror game, a first-person shooter, and a sci-fi thriller film but doesn't pull off any of these particularly well. Its most interesting aspect is its firefighting, but this is also what it spends the least of its playtime focused on. It is incredibly impressive that it was built by such a small team, but that doesn't make it any more enjoyable to play.
Applaud the QE team for the effort...but their core loop is crap. Need playtesting gents!
By constantly bashing the Xbox, these developers turned their shitty game in a success on the PS5. PR department deserve a raise...
GB: "Quantum Error is an ambitious horror shooter but most of the experience falls flat."
It was these guys that were constantly bashing the Xbox to gain favoritism from Sony fanboys... and it paid off.
Sony fanboys fell for their PR BS. This turd is a success on the PS5. LOL
"looks at footage of game"
Yeah I know they're devs, but this statement doesn't hold much when your game looks like that.
Not saying the S doesn't hold back things, because there have been other devs to say it, just odd to see these guys lean heavily into this whole console debate
Bruh this game was also coming to the ps4 lol when he was saying xbox series s is holding the game back.
Only when people point how is series s holding your game back and not the ps4, is when he decide to drop the ps4 🤣.
I think gamers are smart enough to know that games have to be nerfed to run on the Series S. I still say Sony made the right choice same machine same power except one is missing a disc drive. The Series S to me I classify it as a machine for kids who barely game just something to casually game on. Or for the casual gamer who just needs a machine to play a game on. As for me I am a collector I won't touch or own the white brick I would rather spend the extra cash and get the Series X. Least there I don't have to worry about the games being nerfed down plus I get a 4K blu ray player. Where I live the Series S is cluttered in stores, pops up on Facebook Market Place for sale, highly traded in at Gamestop, and pawnshops can't get rid of the white brick. To me yes the Series S does hold back games you get a nerfed down version of the game. If I wanted a nerfed version of the game I would grab it for my XB1 or PS4.
