This is unrelated to the actual post, but can anyone tell me what happened to this site? It used to be the best place to get news, but now it seems like barely any big news comes through, there's little discussion, and it seems to be dying overall. I know there was awhile where I couldn't access the site, but that's been taken care of for a long time. What happened?
There are a lot of technical issues and it doesn't seem there are many people left who approve stories, so they take a long time to get approved, if they get approved at all.
Money. It was sold to someone who wanted to maximize the ad revenue while investing nothing into the actual site. Money killed it.

Another reason is trolls are allowed to run rampant. So the few times discussions might happen, they get derailed fast.
There's also the fact that they're more strict on what gets approved now compared to what they were back in the day.
Site’s been slowly turning to garbage over the past 5 years. It’s currently almost unusable. Full of utter shit adverts covering everything. You cant even access your profile notifications and it’s been like that for what must be over a year now. It really has become an amateur shit show here.
True, I tried opening "my submission" and it opened someone else's list of submissions...
An endless amount of rude trolls, along with terrible and inconsistent moderation. I once got banned for saying S***, but then there are other people who can drop F-bombs and not get banned. Mods also punish the wrong people often, just stupidity all around. I stopped submitting stories and I rarely comment these days due to the lack of proper moderation.
Always thought this was just a Sony pony troll site lol. But it used to be nuts. I used to check this site every day same as siliconera. I do still check here and there but yeah ain’t what it used to be

They had a strong classic library last year, I don't hope they plan to double down on disney releases again this year, like they've done before.

A noticeable improvement over the Steam Deck, but those reflections are hilarious. You're definitely paying for better quality with that hefty price tag. I do like that density isn't really affected by quality, though.
For the performance they were going for, increasing the reflections would not have been viable. The deck and rog can certainly be taken further into the quality mode, but obviously performance takes a huge hit..... but it does look good on a little screen.
Yes, it runs somehow in low graphic resolution and with very limited effects. $1000 for this quality?
Looks impressive for a handheld that lets you play anywhere other than a living room or a desk.
I’m kind of annoyed that they didn’t include any street level heroes in the sequel. I understood the first game wanting to establish Spiderman and Spiderman related characters but I was at least expecting one side mission with Daredevil or an appearance from the Punisher.
Even the characters in the world don’t really chatter about the Avengers and the like to explain where they are. A throw away line on the news about a problem over seas would have done it.

There’s a side mission with Black Cat where she steals a mystic relic from the Sanctum Sanctorum and yet there’s literally no one in it to stop her. You get a message at the end from Wong saying “Thank You. Just got back from Nepal”
Would it have killed them? It would have made the Universe feel a little bit bigger.
