DualShockers spoke with executive director Andrei Chen at Gamescom 2023. “It would be easy for us to add controller support, Assassin’s Creed games are native to controllers, so technically it would be easy. So basically like the RPG trilogy meaning there will be XP boosters and micro transactions

northpaws1035d ago

It was a huge turn off when I see XP booster in single player games

Spenok1035d ago (Edited 1035d ago )

Oh no! How DARE they provide OPTIONAL features! The horror!

Alternatively, you can choose not to buy them, and play the game as normal. Like me. And get THE SAME EXPERIENCE.

northpaws1035d ago

@Spenok

Except it is not the same experience, they purposely make it harder to level so people would have incentive to get the boosters, is that a hard concept for you to understand?

neutralgamer19921034d ago

Same experience yet more Grind because they want to sell MT

Pyrofire951035d ago

Is it so hard to keep the spoilers of leaked information OUT OF THE TITLE!?

Ubisoft wants to make Kassandra their next Ezio badly.

Looks pretty good for a mobile game. The combat is clearly being simplified for obvious reasons. I'd hope they at least add controller support.

Profchaos1265d ago

"the first open world mobile game in the franchise" that's not accurate at all. Assassin's Creed identity was an open world iOS and Android game that was recived well enough for a mobile game but ubi recently killed the servers.

Also id call assassin's creed libertarian on the vita the first and really that could of simply been ported to today's devices but ubi being ubi won't because it's not full of mtx or loot boxes

porkChop1265d ago

Identity wasn't an open world game, it just had large levels. Liberation was a portable/handheld game, not a mobile/phone game. So this is in fact the first open world mobile game in the franchise.
