Good Xbox is a heaven for racist and bigots, one of the main reason I won't go back.i've been called every form of N word you can imagine just because I'm playing a game and nothing more.i hate it they're and in the 360 days nothing was done even after numerous complaints.first time and only time I was called a spear chucker, monkey, aids baby and many other things simply for playing a game.and it's wasn't an isolated incident either it happened daily and very frequently from gears of War to ghost recon.

What do you want to bet they reverse this, in typical Xbox fashion, when PlayStation and Nintendo say "yeah, we're not going to do that. You're grown adults, you should be able to govern and control yourselves. You want respect? Respect is earned, you have to give it to receive it so, if you can't say something nice, if you can't "trash talk" with respect and in good fun and watch your language, knowing little kids are possibly playing, then grow up! You don't want a government to dictate you and tell you what to do, you want to govern yourselves, than show you're not little kids that have to have someone standing over your shoulders?" It's that simple. Instead of having this endlessly long text document and Online Service Agreement on EVERY game that nobody ever reads, but bypasses to get on with the game, and is never enforced anyway, think tank something more to the point, but I guarantee you within a month or so, this goes by the wayside and isn't enforced (which causes more damage) or they reverse it

Finally someone takes the steps to do something like this. Its most likely a system that needs improvement, but the steps has been taken and thats whats most important. I excpect americans to complain about this, their twisted (imo) view on freedom of speech and exploitation of it, will not like this. Most Europeans and other continents will welcome it with warmth 😊

Good. Get rid of the toxic people online who use the platform to verbally abuse people. Some of the stuff I've heard online is some of the most racist, homophobic and sexually inappropriate things ever. I get trash talk, that doesn't bother me, but some go overboard and take it too far. Maybe a strike will get them in therapy. That's how sick some of these people are.

Wow a bunch of gamers saying Hate Speech doesn't exist, with one person who despite probably being in his 30s, purposely oversimplifying it, or just could honestly be that stupid. There is a lot of that going around.
Literally gives you a bunch of chances, so unless you are prone to having "misunderstandings" over and over, I doubt the average non racial slur spouting gamer has anything to worry about.

I'm all up for this, as some gamers don't really know how to behave in a community and don't think twice when insulting a fellow gamer.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
