A last gen looking game would run easily on PS5.

At the title, Yes the Series s was a mistake.

Divinity: Original Sin 1+2 ran fine on PS4 so i expect this to be the same with BD3 on PS5, Larian never miss.

The minimum spec is a GTX 970... It will be fine.

If Diablo, FF14, Pillars of Eternity, Divinity, and the original Baldur's Gate games are fine on PS4 and PS5... one, can infer that Baldur's Gate 3 will be fine as well...

I mean the game runs on a Steam Deck, do you think that's more powerful than a PS5? Do game's journalist do any kind of research or due diligence before they write some blog post? How do you get this job? Are there professional skill requirements?

Runs great even on low spec pcs and they did a great job with controller.

i haven't seen much of Baldur’s Gate 3, but isn't turn based combat?!
i wouldn't mind locked 30fps with native 4k and better graphics instead of 60fps.

I'm going to make this quite simple for people who have a ps5. I own the game on pc. I play with a xbox controller on pc. It plays fine with a controller. You will have the same enjoyment as someone with a mid level gaming pc like mine. Except maybe they'll had haptic feedback to the ps5 controller. This article is dumb. The game doesn't magically change because it switched to ps5. The only reason this article was made is because of the console wars and xbox people feel left out because of the delay. The PS5 can probably easily run the game at 4k/60fps with the equivalent of maxed settings on PC. It's really not a demanding game graphically.

The game looks butt ugly graphically. Why wouldn't it?

Let's see. My PC won't run it but PS5 which is better then my PC will run it so at this time I don't care how it runs as it will still run better then on my PC

He can't bring it to switch 2 and Xbox series s (eventually he did with S)
But he brought Steam deck my favourite device.

I think someone else will bring it to the Switch 2.
