You say that like it's sarcasm but it's what's actually been happening for a over decade. Dozens of limited edition controller releases and exceptionally low game output along with disappointing game quality when the games do come.

So.. you decide to allow yourself to be off topic. Then when you've been corrected you come back to say we should get back on topic. It's a valid point and there is no reaching. Reaching is the defense you're trying to make to say their history isn't clearly showing the criticism to be true, whether you like it or not. And, trying to misuse a word to lessen it's impact and use it to support your bias like it can no longer be used for the contrary. Quit using the term "reaching" if you can't explain how my original comment talking about their history, consistency, and reliance on controller sales is supposedly reaching.

Even sales wise. Xbox limited/special edition controllers have always been better and you're delusional if you think a half red half black controller is any competition.

Also Xbox has been leading the accessibility front with Sony only now getting into allowing gamers more options.

Quality? *cough* stick drift *cough*.
Features? Absolutely, the adaptive triggers are a game changer and the speaker is underutilised but a nice addition for games. Though in terms of actual limited edition controllers, Xbox designs are actually leaps and bounds ahead of any competition Nintnedo or Sony.

@oldMyerslow PSVR2 may be niche but it still doesn't change the fact it is an actual game changing peripheral that Xbox cannot match. I also find it funny that in your eyes a million different controller SHELLS somehow makes any difference to the technology that's IN the controller. I dom't give a shit if Xbox releases controllers with the works of Leonardo da Vinci or Michaelangelo on them....doesn't change the fact that they are all still last gen controllers with some lipstick on. Sony added to true next gen features to theirs which makes theirs way better....even if it only came out in one damn colour. Oh and no sick drift on my controller after over 1500 hours of gameplay bud.

Typical reaching and mental gymnastics. I didn't say it changed the internals. Please read again, I stated that xbox beat Sony when it comes to special/limited edithon controllers. I forgot know where you drew your wild conclusion from.

"GAME changing peripheral" - yeah it's good tech but the point I am making is that xbox lead the way in limited edition and special peripherals. They also lead the way with accessibility options which you conveniently left out.

I've sent three Dualsense back now due to stick drift: Original white, Black and the Purple. It's a real problem "bud" with only one of my Xbox controllers having to go back and both sets of my joy-cons having to go back. Let's not pretend Sony's poor QC with regards to stick drift doesn't exist pal.

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
