I'll be honest if they put out better games I'd be more inclined to use my ubisoft account. I can remember the last game from them I enjoyed. I personally don't like ass creed ,the division, the crew, rainbow six . I'll admit star wars outlaws looks like it has Hella promise, but just depends on the ubisoft to fk it up or not.

So sad. They were really something until about 2010. They now a pathetic shell who can’t even release their games on schedule and certain games like Beyond and Good and Evil 2 May never be released and if they do will very likely not meet their initial vision. They got too big for their own boots.

First, they've removed your well-earned Uplay units for no reason (which was even worse, because you had to buy the game and to earn them), now they're deleting your "inactive" accounts with bought/earned games. And some people were saying that Ubisoft is coming back around - no, they don't, not even close, they're beyong disgusting.

And this is coming from their huge fan (believe it or not) - i was buying, playing and beating each and every Assassin's Creed 'till Origins, every Prince of Persia, Far Cry, Tom Clancy's (except for EndWar, it's terrible to this day), BGAE, Rayman, you name it. They keep milking thier games (same-y game with same engine, same mechanics but different looks) and their fans (buying those same-y buggy games time and time again and spending money on microtrans- sorry, "tImE sAvErS").

Just another reason why I don't do digital streaming services or buy digital games.

Not at all surprising, there's no true ownership of digital content. Look at all those "lifetime" PC apps that have slowly stripped people of their paid access and forced em into a subscription. Or the way games on PC are tied to a digital storefront. Piracy is a necessary evil.

I'm pro digital, but this kind of moves from Ubisoft and Nintendo closing digital stores are making me rethink the digital purchase games...

I don’t buy digital games very often and zero from UbiSoft store. PSN is the only digital games I will buy and even then I prefer not to.

Does ubisoft think that we only play ubisoft games? I know people who only plays assassins creed from ubisoft and won't bother logging in to their accounts for quite some time after finishing the game. Rip to their accounts.

This is completely BS. How dare they. Especially if you’ve made purchases. Not like you can play games all the time some people play them for a bit but have lives. So they may not log in for a lengthy period. But sure enough one day they’ll get that inch and suddenly find all their shit is gone.

i'm done with ubisoft now. i was already burned by their lying before when assassins valhaulla wouldn't have experience boosters and they made me think their game was balanced only for them to go back on their word and implement it. Now this. This just takes the cake. I'm out. Boycotting completely.

If you have a account where you bought games on it there is no excuse for this move. This is going to push people to piracy with moves like that.

When you read the whole text...Ubisoft send you first a warning that your acount is not in use for some time...and in the warning is stated that you have 30 days to activate your account, so they can delete your account AFTER 30 days.
I'am not defending this, it stinks that Ubi can do this, but a nuance in the article headline would be better.

Great, now I have to login regularly to make sure they don't delete the account I purchased games on, guess I'll avoid buying more Ubisoft games in future for this reason. I'm perfectly fine with people sailing the seven seas to ensure they at least have a "permanent" copy of games they paid for.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
