Bloodhound: PC Gameplay

This is an interesting one as it mixes Serious Sam and Painkiller but has loads of weapons and monsters.

Well. That was... something.

You should see the later levels and Boss fights.

Looks like dude bro shooter

You should see some of the big guns later on and how you need them and then some.

Can't stand when the gun just floats in the air with no hand on the grip. So immersion breaking like a cheap VR game.

That looked like complete garbage

It was much more fun to play than most of the hyped stuff we have had for review this year.

Are you affiliated with the game in any way? Because this doesn't seem like anything special and I can't see why else you would prop the game up based on what is on show here. It looks like a mobile game you'd play only once and decide you have better things to do.

Garethvk1038d ago (Edited 1038d ago )

I am not but I actually spent several hours actually playing it and formed my opinion as such not based on a few minutes of gameplay video. A game does not have to have all the bells and whistles and a huge budget to be enjoyable such as a retro shooter that did not come with a wave of hype and millions in advertising behind it. I am not saying it has massive replay value but I completed it and there was a promise of an expanded release to come so there was enough for me to be curious to play more when it is available.

Bloodhound review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "It feels a little odd to compare this DOOM inspired first-person shooter to an arcade game, especially considering the genre was barely represented in the world of coin-ops, but I also couldn’t shake the fact that it would be right at home nestled between the likes of Mortal Kombat 4 and Mace: The Dark Age in an arcade circa 1999. Created by Midway themselves, no less. A time limit and a scoring system are all that’s missing."

Bloodhound review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "The game campaign took me roughly four hours to complete. Given that it was very mediocre and repetitive, and very dark in nature, I have no urge to play it again. I still prefer the 90s shooters that inspired Bloodhound. If the blood/gore, occult references, or language don’t concern you, I would recommend holding off for a sale."
