Stop Announcing Games So Early

Either way the studio or console maker would get hounded. Show something early just to make gamers happy that they have games and get hounded cause its to long or dont show much cause there not ready or far off and get hounded. It's a lose lose

Agree, but Perfect Dark isn't the half of it, look at Elder Scrolls 6 FFS - teaser trailer, build hype, 5 years later tell everyone they have at least 5-7 more years to wait and that the game is in early development. That just stinks.

Just want to make a correction. Stop announcing games so early if you are Xbox. If you are Sony or Nintendo then it's ok if you do it

Sony and Nintendo tend to announce games that release in a reasonable amount of time, but Nintendo also drops games on the day they announce them as well on occasion. That just leaves Xbox which....

That one's an outlier, and I'm pretty sure it was in development before Microsoft even bought studio Bethesda.
