Lots of good news from Atari today. one of the world's most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers — is excited to reveal Quantum: Recharged, the latest entry in the critically acclaimed Atari Recharged series.

Humble Bundle just launched its new Atari: Recharged Retro Revival bundle that features a total of over 100 games for just $20.
For $20, you get Atari 50, which I have to say is by far the best collection of retro games I’ve ever played, especially when it comes to the extras—behind-the-scenes content, curiosities, production details, etc. They really do a great job showcasing information about the games and Atari's history. The included games are also quite nice because they didn’t take the lazy route of simply packaging Atari 2600 titles; you also get Arcade and Jaguar games in the mix. Plus, there’s a small bonus of a couple of new versions of old classics. These are fairly simple games but a nice addition. All of this alone, in my opinion, is already worth the $20—not the cheapest the collection has ever been, but not far from it.
As for the Recharged series, they’re less interesting but still decent fun if you enjoy more arcade-style games. They expand on the originals with new mechanics, levels, and visuals, but nothing really amazing, they are still those classic simple games at the end of the day.

CCG writes - "Quantum: Recharged is fun, and moreso with a second player, but it's also really repetitive. There is a noticeable lack of variety in gameplay here, that I felt makes it fun to play for a few minutes, but less so for longer stretches. "

“August was one of the fullest months in 2023 so far for indie games so let's revisit the 12 very best and hand out some awards.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
