I love white and hate black. Black equiment is so 80's!

I don't care about white or black 360's, unless this is also some form of an IPTV set top box as well. If that's not the case, then just sell me 120GB HDD separately and I'll be fine.

MS needs to say something about this. and not the same, "we don't comment on rumors". i have a cousin that is thinking about getting a 360 but because he thinks there might be a new one coming out, he's thinking about waiting or getting the ps3 now. i'm tired of all these secretes. is it coming out or not! stop playin around

I would gladly buy the new black 360 to replace the one i have. Had to put on GOW skinz to get it to match my other black equiptment better.

P.S. Piano Gloss Black is definatly not 80's looking

There is deffly a new SKU on the way. Microsoft is trying to pull a "Jack in the Box" on Sony. Either that or they are trying to find away to justify marketing it. And no "the sheeps" dont count. (omg i'll buy it right now no problem... i'll buy ten more if they make em. I'll even buy a Xbox360 microwave) No not those people. But the majority of consumers that are like "wait a minute I just dropped $400 bucks on this thing" Why the sudden change. Then the doubt kicks in. Those are the people they are trying to break it to easily I think. IMO

This rumor just won't die. I do hope it's true though. I haven't purchased an XBox 360 just yet. Cooler, quieter system with more storage. I'm in.

but until M$ comes clean about it, rumor fodder!

Could be that some creative person stray painted a core unit black, nice job by the way.

Black and silver look a hell of a lot better then white and beige. 7 years ago PC's and old school monitors use to be white/beige... Now they're black/silver. What does that tell you?

But honestly, I think the PS3 is a better buy at that price UNLESS it came with a built-in HD DVD and HDMI. That would completely destroy the PS3 and Blu-ray.

No, but it looks better to the mainstream dumbsh*t consumer.

It just gives us gamers another option.

When people trade in their other 360 for this one it will put used 360s back into circulation, giving gamers with less money the ability to afford one.

Which in turn will give us a bigger-better online community. Win-win.

...because black goes well with my other electronics. Plus, I can use my BB replacement plan on one (maybe pay a little extra) the next time my gorram 360 goes belly-up. (3x now). C'mon MS: Where's the quality control? (Just frustrated right now).

If microsoft release a 360 with with hdmi and hd dvd build in its over for sony and its beta ray,sit back and watch this space....

I personally think this would be great, i just wish Microsoft would hurry up and confirm this. I think that this coming year will be great for all gamers whichever format is your preference. 360 in my opinion has easily the best line up of games this year, will be interesting to see what Sony will bring to the table this year to combat Microsofts killer line up, if anything. 2008, Sony may have their true killer apps ready to combat Microsoft but until then i believe this year will be the year of the 360 in gaming terms. I am new to this site but have been reading posts on here for the past year and have to say that i'm impressed with some of the interesting points people raise especially from people such as the mart.
