I think another way to do Lightgun in VR is covert something like Time Crisis or Virtua Cop and have you actually be using the OG cabinets in VR as if you are in front of the screen in an arcade . This would work with many arcade games that have mechanical elements like Space Harrier too.

Again Imagine an epic space rail shooter built on Unreal 5 !! I'm hoping the new Rtype 3 evolved has more VR. Seems strange it's just a launch sequence.
