Despite having the best value proposition, setback after setback has kept the good ship Xbox stuck in drydock. And that’s not good for anyone.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
i feel like they needed a win since the xbox one times. its been downhill ever since.
No it need 10 victories, 15.... One game won't change nothing. Microsoft need to make quality game after game. One hirt wonder won't change the reality!
Nothing could restore my faith in Microsoft at this stage. I say Microsoft, because if they sold Xbox someone else might actually deliver what gamers want - and they deserve that chance.
Microsoft is out of chances. It's time people wake up and push back.
It’s this mindset that causes Xbox fans to go ballistic when a single mediocre title is announced or released. They overreact, swear it’s going to annihilate, and end up incredibly disappointed or simply ignore it and jump on the next “big thing”. Literally starved for content so a morsel of food taste better than anything they could imagine. If the Xbox was flush with original titles and quality exclusives they would have saw from a mile away what everyone else did. How lackluster & mediocre Redfall looked. But no. It was “game of the year” material and people’s most anticipated game.
Microsoft has a long way to go. There is no single title that will be the savior. Xbox fans need to stop being blind followers. Plain and simple. Call them on this shyt. Call them on not supporting their fanbase with those billions and leaving them starving for YEARS. Call them out on trying to buy their way into competition and creating engagement instead of investing in US and their own games.
I forgot who said it, but someone said that Xbox fans are abused. It’s a strong word, abuse, but how the heck does it not apply? They could have supported and fed the community years ago, yearly, the same way every game company has since the onset of gaming. Instead they leave you to starve and try to find new ways to get more out of you. The subscription based future is waving to you. Wave back or shut that 💩 down and demand better.
Yeah well, wins are something that should be earned. Xbox keeps losing because it isn't putting in the effort, plain and simple.
