I’m playing FFVI and it’s such an incredible title with a well crafted port. There are some Octopath-like imagery sprinkled throughout for visual enhancements. Added vocal audio for key parts. New music is wonderful. Boost features makes it extremely accessible for everyone.
If you want to dig into FF history between other titles, these are great to pick up and digest.
Currently playing FFIV (which I knew as FFII back in the SNES days). Loving it!
Yes there are fans of the older FF games. And this is introducing FF to a younger crowd who can't afford or don't want a NES or a SNES to play these FF games. I never had a NES as a kid so I missed out on the older FFF games. I have a SNES and FF3 on SNES is too much to buy. So I am glad Square did this.
