wait - $18 / month on top of Gold or GP or whatever else you pay for?
You could pick up the latest Far Cry for like $17 on Amazon - I don't get it

Snookies121009d ago

Pretty much all Ubisoft game prices tank super quickly. Absolutely no need to get a service like this, lol.

just_looken1009d ago

Same i was also head scratching as to why it was not in gamepass like ea access is.

Atleast on pc you can grab most ubisoft games for free under a 2-4hr playtime then pay after that.

Berenger1008d ago

Wait, so now you expect every subscription service to be free on GP? Lol Good lord. This post reeks of entitlement. Not your fault, I guess. MS has conditioned you since 2017 to expect everything for free so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Heaven forbid we actually PAY for the things we enjoy, smdh.

you are part of the problem.

crazyCoconuts1008d ago

I'm not sure you're using "entitlement" correctly. If I decide my $18/month isn't worth the games i get for it, that's me deciding how to spend the money i earn, not "entitlement". Do you earn your own money?

giovonni1008d ago

@crazycoconuts thats not what he was saying. Yes you have every right to spend your hard earn money as you see fit, but to assume you shouldn’t pay for a service, or assume something is free because “you” excepted it to be free is entitlement. Would you expect HBOmax to be Free through Apple TV? can, they make it free, sure if that’s what the two companies agree on. However, it’s not and if you study these app trends this is the norm. So why would we think it would be different for video games?

Berenger1008d ago

@crazyCoconuts I was responding to the comment that @just_looken left. My bad if I accidentally responded to yours. I also agree with your value proposition. $18 for 60-100 Ubisoft games vs $15 for 400 Xbox games seems silly, though this will include day 1s like GP, I believe.

Berenger1008d ago

@Andrew336 grow up. Just because someone criticizes a product doesn't make them a fanboy. I have owned every system every generation since the original Nintendo. MS has proven inept and has only further shown me I was right to not bother with Xbox this gen.

Ubisoft management are clueless and delusional. They chase every get-rich-quick scheme that glitters, don't play games themselves and haven't related to gamers for over a decade. Right about now they're all celebrating thinking THIS is the idea that transforms them from a turd into their idol, EA, a profitable turd. They have some good IPs but management can't help themselves but to shoot themselves in the foot every chance they get.

crazyCoconuts1008d ago

I didn't say it should be FREE, it's just not worth $18/month

I only use Ubisoft+ because it’s included with PS+. I’d never subscribe to it on its own

crazyCoconuts1009d ago

It's not quite Ubisoft+ on PS+ since they only had AC Valhalla for a limited period and I don't think they've had FC6 yet. It's like all their older stuff

Andrew3361008d ago

Yea, it's more like ubisoft-

KaoticBrock1008d ago (Edited 1008d ago )

Ubisoft+ isn't included with PS+.

Profchaos1009d ago

Ubi just milking the cow here nothing to see it's not included it's a additional 18 dollar sub to play some copy and paste games you can buy elsewhere for a few dollars each

EvertonFC1008d ago (Edited 1008d ago )

One of my beloved pubs gone down the drain, whatever happened @Ubi 😔

Imagine a service filled with Ubisoft games...hell on earth.

Best Adventure Game of 2025

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "While not carrying the same heft it enjoyed long ago, last year was one of the adventure genre's most commercially-successful years in this century. A Telltale-esque adventure eclipsing 3 million sales in three months would be the talk of the town were it not for another adventure game hurdling over 10 million sales in two. Though not all finalists reached those heights, each did share a greater amount of spotlight compared to similar titles within their respective sub-genres.

Past any sales thresholds and popularity contests, 2025 also deserves credit for its creativity; the last time our entire shortlist consisted exclusively of new IPs was for Best Adventure Game of 2020. An impressive year for the genre, with even greater potential ahead."
