Jedi: Survivor has been shrouded in a mist of secrecy ever since being announced in mid-2022, and only recently have little tidbits been offered to fans to tide them over until the game’s launch on April 28th. Graciously, I was invited out last week by EA and Respawn to check out 3 hours of the game; just enough time to check out the entirety of the game’s second planet Koboh. And even though those three hours were enough to get just a taste of what Jedi: Survivor has to offer, it was nowhere near enough time to get the full breadth of everything on offer.

PS Plus Extra and Premium are set to lose 14 games in August, 2025, including EA and Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Why remove it? I get TW3 and it’s about to get a resurgence with the DLC.
Damn. I’ll never play it by then. And it’s kinda dumb to remove a game that won’t sell much more but makes ppl pay for PS Plus
I bought Jedi survivor before it his plus, and honestly this is a prime example of what I have an issue with tying my gaming time to my subscriptions. It’s nice to get games in the subscription that I can play.
However, between the time frame of how long they are available and how long my subscription lasts. I feel like I’m on the clock to beat my games. And, honestly I don’t have the time I used to have prior to working my career and having a household of 5 to take care of.
This has severely turned me away from gaming subs as I’m paying them to have access to a library I will never really get to enjoy. Buying my games at least I can play them at my pace when I want. No timers, no rushing and all on how I feel.

I find it funny how some are complaining about how subscriptions work. This is how they all work. Stuff comes in and stuff goes out. You STILL have to option to buy the game. It's $14 right now. If you really like the game then buy it. Or is it only good enough for you to play through a subscription?
Sony pays for these games to be in the service and they aren't just keep it around until some of you decide to play it. If it was that important, you would have played it by now. It came out in April of 2023. Again it's $14 right now.
