Back up Games (and More) With Blindwrite

If you're not a gamer, you probably shouldn't bother with Blindwrite. This program will copy virtually any data CD or DVD, but its real purpose is to back up gaming discs. Under older copyright law, you have a right to one backup of any piece of software. However, the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) says the breaking copy protection is illegal. You can decide on the ramifications of this yourself; however, Blindwrite seems to work pretty well.

Not worth the risk IMO

It is ok to make a Back up of anything you own.. One for One.. if the Original get sold or Thrown away then you must throw the back up away...

iamtehpwn6400d ago (Edited 6400d ago )

This isn't going to make backup games run in your system unless you have a modchip or some method of running the games. Unless you're talking about PC games, but again--useless.

blah.

You can play backed up Wii games without a mod chip or any hardware modifications.

Just a thought....

this is just a tool to avoid downloading games and burning them you now can just copy the cd and burn it sadly you cannot boot the cd with a mod chip or a boot disk. so this is a fail program

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing75d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit75d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing75d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9275d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
