SPOnG was pumped to be able to catch up with Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing, Pete Hines (pictured) earlier this week to find out more about the forthcoming PS3 version of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Not to mention quiz him a little on what else the mighty Bethesda is up to these days, including finding out some tasty tidbits on its next major game project: Fallout 3.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
How long have the team been working specifically on the PS3 version?
Pete Hines: Since last March, since we shipped the PC and 360 versions.
SPOnG: And what have been the highs and lows of that [PS3] development process?
Pete Hines: Erm, you know…highs… well, the high is getting it done! That's the only high we care about [laughs]. The low is that it is a long, long process… You work for four years to get this game ready for two platforms and then it's really good.
60 Oh yeahhhhhhhhhh!
The PS3 version was just one year in developmenet? That's surely something 360 fanboys won't like. There it goes their longer developement statemnt...
they want to move on.the ps3 gave them some hiccups because it's different.but what he said about 360 FANBOYS is right on the money when it comes to ps3.to take all the negative crap with a grain of salt.and that they had to step in and shut the haters up on some things.love that.
THEY HAD TO STEP IN AND SHUT YOU GUYS UP WITH THE LIES:
1.PS3 NOT HAVING ENOUGH MEMORY.
2.DOUBLE INFORMATION BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION.
3.NOT GETTING ANY MORE CONTENT FOR PS3.
4. NOT LOOKING A LITTLE BETTER ON PS3.
5.BLURAY NOT BEING FAST ENOUGH TO LOAD GAMES.
6.RSX NOT BEING ABLE TO PRODUCE AS GOOD OR BETTER GRAPHICS.
THEY HAD TO SHUT YOU GUYS UP.
oblivion is a buy for me.just because it's coming out later doesn't mean it's not still an award winning game.you fanboys got PWNED by the devs themselves.I LOVE THAT.TO THE GUYS WITH THE LIES.YOU GOT PWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNEDDDDDD!!!!! !!
