The latest system update for PlayStation 5 has added a slight change which makes it easier to play the digital version of a game if you own the disc, and vice versa.

“Castlevania Belmont’s Curse is a 2D Action-Exploration game where players can freely explore vast, elaborately crafted maps,” Tommy Williams, Konami’s Head of Communications for the Americas, tells The Verge. “It is not a roguelike or roguelite game.”

The devs discuss the modes and additions coming to the console version of the game.

Team Ninja return to the world of the Samurai and masocore gaming, with an added flavour of Ninja. Does it pass the Nightingale Floor, or is it crushed by Yokai? JDR finds out in today's review.
finally... this is one of the best features on xb and I'm so glad ps has it too. first time i experienced it on xbo with quantum break. I installed the game from disc and then one day i saw its icon on my dash saying gamepass. so i clicked on it and it started playing... without needing the disc. Now obviously if the game is removed from GP then I'd have to use the disc to play but that was cool.
So glad this is being fixed on PS. If I no longer subscribe to PS+ it is nice to know my disc versions would still work without having to reinstall.
It's a logical feature, but kinda pointless... You play from a disc, or you play it digital.
When will you have a disc of a game, and than buy that game digital again?
Or you have bought a digital game, and now miraculously you end up with that game on the disc?
This was actually added months ago in their last big update that changed the "Explore' section
A bit late to the party, everybody. That is months old.
This is nice. Really wish they'd streamline the overall UI though. Even though we've all figured it out, it still feels sloppy and unintuitive compared to the PS4. Also, when will we get wallpaper back?
