Surprise Surprise the underpowered last gen spec machine has issues with a current gen game.

It is understandable with all the bells and whistles going on in Atomic. That game is gorgeous.

Not even news worthy. And the sky is blue.

I don't know what Microsoft is doing at a platform level but they need to work with developers way more than however they're currently doing it.

Series S version of Hogwarts has an extra full load screen at important areas, no uncapped framerates or a balanced mode. I get excluding RT features but game after game having unstable framerates in moments of action on top of the lack of other options makes Xbox as a platform look weaker, not just the S.

It has serious frame drops in regards to hogwarts on the series x aswell which aren't found on the ps5 version which can confirm it ran pretty sweet for me.

Atomic hearts looks great on my series x though, didn't notice any drops in my limited play through so far.

Ms do need to do a better job of helping devs, develop on there platform though for the supposedly stronger console its not really turning out that way.

10 million players for Atomic Heart, nice!

Does this mean we might see an Atomic Heart 2? Crispy Critters!

NovoSlev355d ago

They're launching a new publishing label, Mundfish Powerhouse, but I wouldn't be shocked if they'll be using that to self-publish Atomic Heart 2 - hopefully!

It's on GP. 10 million players and a made another studio? So Did Gamepass help or contribute in making another studio for them? I know its on other platforms which also helped their new venture.

Boy_the_CowRoy353d ago

10 million? Hard to believe for a game with only 400 people playing this game currently and a all time peak of only 37k on PC. Is the difference in popularity of this game on console and PC really that big?

Well done Mundfish, I had a fun time with this game... apart from the 2nd dlc. Great world building, a solid storyline and Bioshock style gameplay. Looking forward to what comes next.

I started playing the game on Gamepass a while back. I stopped because it wasn't my cup of tea.

I am glad they were able to build a fan base for this game.
