Hi-Fi RUSH review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "This rhythm-based hack ‘n slasher serves to remind us that, even in this era of constantly ballooning development budgets, surprises can still come from nowhere. In this instance, from the unlikeliest of places too – this playful and energetic experience comes from Tango Gameworks, best known for the bleak horror series The Evil Within. Side by side, they couldn’t be any more different."

Hi-Fi RUSH physical edition pre-orders open January 16

Pre-orders for the long-awaited physical edition of Hi-Fi RUSH will go live via Limited Run Games from January 16 to March 1, the distributor announced.

Even though I buy almost everything digitally, I kind of feel like buying this just because they might patch the game someday due the music licensing issues, and use the "streamer mode" as a backup.

That existing has always seemed a bit too convenient to me. haha. This is one of my favourite games. Have never bought anything from Limited Run Games due to their poor reputation though.

Hopefully it's gotten a next Gen upgrade, because I would love to go finish this one

Limited Run Games can crash and burn. I still remember when they fired someone for following conservative accounts and being excited for Hogwarts Legacy. And they take a year and a half to ship their trash products anyway

Link please, always worth backing up claims like this with evidence otherwise it descends into a shouting match.

I’ve bought many games over the years from them. The only delays I’ve seen is from the developers because Limited Run puts the full game on disc and devs had DLC they wanted printed with the game. I don’t buy every game so I can’t speak for every release but the games I have bought always show up during the general time frame they have stated. They’re not a perfect company like any other but I do like some of the games they offer that otherwise wouldn’t get a physical copy.

that's way more reasonable than I though. I might give it a go

I kinda don't want to get this one because the studio is gone, so none of the money will go to the people that deserve it.

Tango Gameworks isn't gone, Krafton bought them from Microsoft

I think the terms of service changed to Krafton instead of Bethesda in-game, and the money would be going to Tango.
