The Uncharted series is well-known for its exceptional graphics and cutting-edge technology, both of which have persistently pushed the limits of what is possible on the PlayStation platform. This has resulted in the series consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.

Pragmata has sold 1 million copies in two days, Capcom has announced.
I didn't know it came out last Friday, or I would have bought the game. I will try again for this upcoming weekend.
Im really digging it. It reminds me of games from the PS2 era, not visually or how it plays, but like the spirit of it. If you were around for that golden age of gaming, you’ll get what I mean when you play this.
The next thing I'm mine when I've had my fill of crimson desert. A nice linear action game to contrast the open ended 😗👌

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has now become the second title to win Game of the Year at all five major awards shows.
I thought this game was a load of rubbish. Trying too hard to be art(sy) by people who don’t really understand art but want to make it look like they do. Found it obvious and shallow and just not a fun game. Just seemed like every relentless second they were clutching at trying to feed this superior narrative… the irony being that’s kind of what I’m doing now… maybe that’s art imitating art….
Didn't know the Golden Joystick fan votum was considered one of the "major awards"?
I always thought it's "only" the Big Four - VGA, Bafta, GDC and DICE.
Nonetheless, congrats to Clair Obscur!
Still haven't seen a complete package more impressive than U4 & TLOU2 besides maybe R&C
playing it again U4 on PC highest settings and is just too damn good of a game from gameplay to visuals, ND nailed it when creating the transition of exploration to combat, on exploration Nathan is a bit slower and it looks heavier on the movement , the animation represents that pretty damn good, but when entering combat you can feel the transition of movement , the tension can be felt in the gameplay, Nathan is way more faster , agile and the controls are perfect!, there is absolutely no other game that it does this in gameplay so naturally.
Crysis games pushind the limits of what is possible on ps3 and 360 and looked better than U2/3
which are way more linear games
from DF
The fact that Crysis 3 runs on console at all is a remarkable achievement, with Crytek deploying a wide range of advanced rendering techniques"
"Crysis 3 is one of the most technically accomplished games of this generation, a visually spectacular piece of software that pushes graphical boundaries on all platforms. And with all its graphical settings pushed to the max."
John dark1x 2021
" before we go into all of the details again i just have to stress how good crysis 3 still looks today i mean this was released before the last generation of consoles i think it still holds up, looks like a Ps4 and xbox one generation title in a way that kind of shocking"
In that time the PC version looked a gen ahead of
TLOU on ps3
"Crysis 3 on PC effectively offers a "next-gen now" experience - a preview of the level of technical prowess we should expect in the years to come from the new wave of consoles".
This was before the release of
PS4 and xbox one.
Now we need to see what Crysis 4 be like :)
UC4 still has pretty much the best lifelike character models I've seen on cutscenes. Love to see what they could do with this new gen
Uncharted and tomb raider are about the only linear games I will buy lol they are so well crafted I really hope the next uncharted be a bit more open about exploration cause naughty dog kicks ass when pushing hardware mane like Santa Monica, insomniac and sucker punch imagine what these devs will do with the ps5 :-O
