Hmm... I can't see the relation on why these 2 trademarks alude to a possible new remake...

The Stars trademark has appeared before on the previous remakes and possibly will too on the RE4Remake intro.

And the director's cut one was a new attempt at a previous failed trademark, possibly for a GOG release or something like that...

I really would love the original RE on the style of RE2 remake

However they better not shove in some kind of Mr X or Nemesis enemy which doesn’t belong

The remake was over 20 years ago, we could see a new game, these are such big reimaginings they are literally like an alternative timeline at this point.

Just do RE5 completely different so it’s a new game and they can stop at RE9 and go from the remake games.

Atleast Capcom one of the devs that didn’t forget a series that got them where they are now, imagine a true assassins creed 1 remaster on RE 2 level of polish or even Scarface remake man but atleast this here might push other devs to get confidence back into the roots that made them known

I think I'd like a code Veronica over re1 at this point it feels like they kind of missed a step between 3 and 4.

It's interesting what they will do when they get to 5 plus at this point though as those games are still fairly good looking and like most 7th gen titles are only ever remastered instead of remade usually

I think they should remake Code Veronica and 0 first before going back round to the original. It’s basically because they are now starting to run out of games to remake but they have to keep that money coming in… lol if I had to guess I would bet RE1 remake in 2026 for its 30th anniversary

I would give ANYTHING to be able to explore Spencer Mansion in VR.

Instead of making these weird multiplayer modes like RE:Verse or whatever they should remake Resident Evil Outbreak and focus on a coop experience with story telling.

Since they're remaking everything, I hope they remake the Outbreak games.

Code Veronica needs the remake treatment the most and should have been remade before 4. I hope they aren’t skipping over it because it is the true RE3.

I would actually like a second remake of RE1 with over the shoulder controls. I enjoyed the RE1 remake but a second one would make it even better.

Capcom isn't remaking Resident Evil 7. That was the first game using the REengine, and is not old or dated.
