No the PSP will not sell more than the DS, some love to hate. Quite Frankly, It's getting murdered monthly but the PSP can be improved and is going nowhere.

I have both and prefer my DS because of selection of games in it's library and my Castlevania/2D love it still gets. Waiting to upgrade a to a PSP 3000 as soon as they fix that interlace issue.( I don't trust them)

Sales have been disappointing, but it's nothing that a major infusion of GAMES couldn't fix. The system has some good titles, but other than Crisis Core, Chains of Olympus, and Patapon (all of which launched earlier in the year), there haven't been that many big titles for the system.

Sony needs to step up the first-party support. Resistance is on the way, but what about Jak, Sly Cooper, Ratchet, and other major Sony imprints...where are the new games? What about porting some of the best PS2 games to the PSP? I know that's not as good as having original games, but imagine Ico or Sly on your PSP.

And more original downloadable games. With the PSP2 on hold (or cancelled), Sony should be going b@lls-out in their support of the PSP.

The PSP did what was almost impossible...it put a sizable dent in Nintendo's domination of the handheld market. But it will never gain more than a small portion of the market without better support.

Us PS3 fans have a reason for liking PS3 more than 360 and that is because PS3 far better array of games and deliviers a higher caliber experience than what you get with the 360 like they say you get what you pay for PS3 is like a Lamborghini and 360 is like a Kia.

I've been a long time Sony hater (since PS1!) but I did buy a PSP in the end and not a DS. Why?

God of War - fantastic for a hand held game. Amazing graphics and brilliant gameplay. More like this and PSP would fly off the shelves.

I love my PSP, but there is a real serious lack of games coming out or have been coming out on the platform for sometime.

The last game I bought was 7 months ago.

Obviously the PSP isnt doing as well as the DS - that doesnt mean its dead. The PSP is still selling truckloads (across the world) and it is a success since its making Sony money.
People seem to forget that Nintendo had a rockhard monopoly on handheld gaming for 15 years or so. The PSP doing so well against competition like that, well... I think its a success.

There's no denying that as far as the demo goes, the 360 version is superior. It could change when the final versions are released, but my money is on the 360 version...hell, it has to be, because the 360 is all that I own!

But gf has a ds, doesn't use it alot, some brain training,lol, and some more brain training. I've had a go of both. But to be honest, handhelds have never been my thing.

For games, i either get my enjoyment out of my pc or my ps3 and if i want to listen to music on the go, i use my N95.

I don't know or care if it's disappearing. I have both and rarely play either. My kids however play their DS games almost daily but even then they only play maybe a half hour or so before becoming bored and moving on to the 360 or PS3. I actually play games on my iPhone quite often during downtime at work and in places like waiting rooms and changing rooms while my wife parades endless clothing in front of my face. I just have no reason to own a PSP anymore. Laugh if you must but I much prefer my iPhone over the PSP or DS.

i have a 16gb memory card cost 100$ but i have full movies on it and you tube videos and it plays games i have beowulf in it got for 10$ its a sweet deal ... i can hold about 7 full movies with about 100 you tube videos ...
