Resident Evil 4's remake could be an amazing title if Capcom can avoid cutting out major sections of the game as it did with Resident Evil 3.

Capcom recently released Resident Evil Requiem, and it's been so successful that it's seemingly dragging along every other Resi game with it.
That's certainly true in the UK; the latest physical retail charts have come in, and the top 10 includes five Resident Evil games across all platforms.

Capcom has updated its list of “Platinum Titles“—games that have sold over one million units—providing total sales numbers as of September 30, 2025.
Arka: "We might be done with gamescom 2025, but the summer of video games is heating up with Tokyo Game Show 2025 up next."
It’s always funny when people say RE3 made mistakes. I played RE3R more times than I played RE2R because of how tight and focused it was. I played it maybe 7 times and enjoyed all of it. I am like a few trophies from the platinum and consider playing it again but I have other things I need to finish and force myself not to.
RE3 was a mess because it was rushed and cut content
I didn't like the fact RE3 remake was missing half the game and yet Capcom wanted full price for the remake. The RE3 remake for missing half the game should have easily been a $40 not an $80 Canadian price.
There is no way RE4 doesn't have cut content. The military part at the end is being cut for sure(doesn't gel with the new serious vibe) and seperate ways. Maybe we will get seperate ways...but as paid DLC.
