I followed what the guy did and it's much improved, surprisingly.
I use my PS3 has my primary multimedia machine. Ever since I discovered the magic that is HDMI and the ability to upscale DVD over it I've been extremely happy with the big black box. I enjoy the picture and sound quality of Blu-Ray. It's an awesome.
...with one exception. I would actually recommend turning 24Hz output OFF.
