It always looked too good to be fake. Personally I'm really glad with what I saw, it looks like it's gonna be another great game from rockstar. Though they confirmed this, I do hope there will truly be no extra delays because of the leaks

Yeah that was a very classy response. Acknowledge the leak, don't make it out to be a big deal, and assure the fans that development continues as normal. That's pretty much the best thing they could have done.

For me personally the leak actually confirmed that Rockstar is still on the right track, even with different people leading the project. The level of detail they've added to the robbery mechanics for example, going prone, the look and feel of the world, etc. GTA VI seems like it'll be a much deeper experience with no shortage of little details to flesh everything out.

That’s like saying since you don’t let random people into your home your home deserves to be robbed. Don't like forced characters in a game than enjoy saints row.

Rockstar make narrative driven games such include characters backgrounds, families, desires and motivations. In fact the biggest part of a character is family in gta in my opinion.

Because letting you be anyone means thsg can't build characters like the Vance brothers, cj and his family which was the entire san andreas story if they were hispanic instead sweet wouldnt have a problem with ceaser at the start. And the biggest one niko and his cousin escaping the balkin war wouldn't make any sense if they were not natively from Eastern Europe.

You'll get online which will have some freedom in character design but look at the story in chose your character games they are not narratively deep they add often person x gets in trouble and needs surgery design them and their background is never discussed again.

What? No... That's not how that works. It's called being patient, and waiting for the game to actually be revealed. Stuff like this will only potentially cause the game to take even longer. It's bad for everyone involved.

Yea, no. That leak made its way across MANY game news outlets and social media outlets like Facebook and twitter. Hell Reddit had a field day with it and had thousands upon thousands of comments on just one of the dozens of threads that each had thousands of comments and upvotes themselves. This thing got out like wildfire.

What I see happening here is, R* is going to ban mods in GTA6 UNLESS you buy them from the marketplace and R* then gets a cut of that sale.
