XLN Launches Avatar Quotes

XLN is proud to unveil another unique feature to you, the user base. The avatar speakers' corner is based off the real-life speakers' corner, with the original being in the northeast corner of Hyde Park in London, England.

In the speakers' corner, public speaking is allowed as long as the police consider the speeches lawful. Contrary to popular belief there is no immunity from the law, nor are any subjects proscribed. In practice the police tend to be tolerant and intervene when they receive a complaint or when they hear profanity. In this case, the XLN code of conduct applies to the content of the quotes.

so much feautures, people have to pay for XBL but they get the best exprience and best feautures. HOME is free but it's broken, it sucks, it's boring, you have to pay for clothes, nothig works, it's a forever BETA for excuses, right now you can't chat with friends using voice chats....everybody hates HOME, the users, the media...Home is sh***

The Best features and experiences... Yeah, Microsoft sure is good at taking things from XMB. Lol.

It's okay little 15 year old, ur just expressing anger.

Avatars: mandatory

/I win.

Magic_The_Celt6368d ago

Lol well yeah but what about all the features PSN can do for free which 360 cant seem to handle?

Like being able to send pics to friends in a message, or knowing your messages wont be deleted after so many days (seriously!? hahaha) or having internet explorer and all exlusives having dedicated servers, man i could go on.

meepmoopmeep6368d ago

gosh, that looks familiar...
can't put my finger on it though...

:)

Bnet3436368d ago

Can you say what it reminds you of because this doesn't remind me of anything but comic books.

Fishy Fingers6368d ago (Edited 6368d ago )

Speech bubbles in comics...?

Edit: Kigmal beat me :)

On the PS3 there is the option to have your avatar say something kind of like a status on Facebook. For example if I'm on your friends list and you scroll down to me, you'll see a text bubble that says FIFA 09!!! Cause I'm excited that I got FIFA 09.

I don't know if this is the same thing though.

I can tell you right now that this idea, just like our Avatars, is 100% original. We have some of the best engineers (like myself) working deep into the night, employing think-tank style brainstorming to come up with yet more highly useful functions of Live to justify the subscription costs.

Some will contend that the user "motto" should have sufficed, however, that required users to actually put effort into seeking information. This way, we can bring the users words right to your eyes, just like the 400% increase in ads that are now part of the NXE.

No need to thank me folks.

Do any of you realize that this has nothing to do with Xbox Live? This is a post about the website xboxlivenation.com. Get a grip.

On XBL you have always been able to automatically see what games your friends are playing, without them having to type it in. User quotes have also been there from start and you can change them whenever you want.

It's called "edit comment" in PS3... cuz it's just a random comment.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde39d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy39d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. As the son of Andrew Hewson—the man behind legendary publisher Hewson Consultants—Rob Hewson didn't just grow up playing video games; he learned to spell his name from their title screens. However, Rob didn't just rest on his family's 8-bit laurels. From leading major LEGO franchises at TT Games to tackling the high-stakes world of technical porting at Huey Games, Rob has carved out a unique path in an ever-evolving industry. In this candid interview Rob to discussed the burden and beauty of a family legacy, the technical "scar tissue" left by the ambitious Hydrophobia, and why porting a masterpiece like Inscryption to consoles is far more than a simple copy-paste job.
