Like cod and sports games, they make too much money off of new entries. So a new game with heavily recycled assets will make them a lot more money, it worked with splatoon 2 lol.

Third times a charm. Make a few tweaks and sell it as a new game for the 3rd time. Still 4v4, same size maps and mechanics. Played the demo and S2 back to back Saturday, same experience. Online gets boring pretty quick.
