Haha this was actually very well-written. Good stuff. And a great game.

This game's art style equals win.

Volvobug6235d ago

Yeah I can't understand anyone who doesn't like it. It's quite simply BEAUTIFUL.

Volvobug6235d ago

The Two Thrones felt stale, but this feels like an entirely new franchise. Good job, Ubisoft.

InMyOpinion6235d ago

This game gets repetitive quicker than you can say Assassins Creed. It's like the reviewers base their judgement on the first 10 minutes + the graphics. Look it's cel-shaded! Art directors go *fap fap fap fap*...

rroded6235d ago (Edited 6235d ago )

we got this game not long ago put in about 5 hours and its already a chore to play.
this is nothing like any of the other pop games all scripted one on one fight and whats more you cant die! N the world for all its pretty colours is nothing more than a series of conveniently placed hook jump pads n crap to make you waste time between scripted fight a and identical fight b (plus the odd boss fight wich are all also scripted). Whats more you spen 80% (ok a little less but prob 50% at least) of the game backtracking over stuff you've already done.
No way does this game deserve a 60 dollar purchase. AC was easily ten times the game and you can get it a lot cheaper.

InMyOpinion6235d ago

Definately. Assassins Creed not only looks better but has more variation and is much more fun to play. Underrated.

Pennywise6235d ago

I really wanted to like this game. I played a good amount of time, but it did get repetitive and the fighting was not satisfying at all. If it wasnt for the few trophies I was close to, it would of went back sooner. Ir's a shame, I expected more.

ps3king6235d ago

I couldn't personally say Assassin's Creed looks better than Prince of Persia and vice versa. They both look incredible. What I can say about the new prince of persia was that there is no sense of anything in that game other than beauty. The game is fun and fun to look at. But that's it.

I felt way too invincible unfortunately. It made me really bitter thinking about how gaming has removed the punishment of performing poorly in videogames, only to make the game accessible. I would be CONCENTRATING AND ENVELOPED IN THE EXPERIENCE IF I HAD REPERCUSSIONS IN MY MISTAKES. But I felt it didn't matter in this game. Also, the flying magic parts sucks. I wish it were just the Prince and no Elyka

Also, Everything seemed extremely obvious on where you had to go.

10 Super NES Games You’ll Probably Never Beat

If you’re a gamer “of a certain age”, you may vaguely remember the moment when games went from a grueling gauntlet requiring all your skill and concentration to tackle to a casual, checkpoint-containing, cruise control-encouraging walk in the park.

I beat Jurassic Park multiple times!

Jurassic Park had no save system, so I would leave the console running while I went to school, took breaks. It's not that it's hard, it's just tedious. But I was a Jurassic Park obsessed kid (around 13 when this hit), so I would obsessively scower ever inch of the maps (both 2D and 3D) until I had them memorized.

The Star Wars trilogy, I only beat w the cheat codes.

Sounds just like me. I mapped out the indoor areas on paper, leaving the SNES on for days at a time. But I never finished the game. I collected all the raptor eggs except one. So close !

Neonridr1199d ago

oh god, I remember beating JP on SNES and like you said, it was all in one shot.

I dunno about this list though, I beat all the Star Wars games and while some levels were tough, it was easy to get powerups and extra lives and stuff. Maybe set to the hardest settings it was tough. I also beat Contra 3, loved that game to death.

darthv721199d ago

with the exception of Jurassic Park and Prince of Persia, I've beaten every other one of those. It just takes practice and time. Something I had way more of when I was younger.
