Each world's vivid colors become more and more muted, the stakes less and less concerning, and the gameplay more and more repetitive. From a distance, this seems like a perfectly adequate Diablo clone with an imaginative art style. It has the storytelling bones for a fun sci-fi/fantasy pulp too. But when you continuously mess up on the details, you get a game that's less than the sum of its parts."
