This looks good as the original was great.
Oone of the world’s most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers – brings us the next exciting entry in the Atari Recharged series: Yars: Recharged.

“I love shining the spotlight on underrated games and out of all 181 games that I wrote full reviews for in our 9th year, here are the top 10 that I feel more chums should be playing. Plus, it's Video Chums' 9th anniversary today - go us! 🥳” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.

"Yars: Recharged is a new but faithful sequel to Yars’ Revenge, the Atari 2600 shoot ‘em up from 1982. This one casts one or two local players as the insect-like Yars who must shoot and bite their way through an army of evil aliens in an attempt to save their species from extinction. Whether or not you’ve played the original game, Yars: Recharged is a fun and addictive shooter," says Co-Optimus.
Atari’s Recharged series has thus far yielded some mixed results, but Yars Recharged bucks that trend, delivering a great, must-play update on a classic game.
Please tell me this is a mobile release and not part of the Atari's 50th Anniversary collection. Love the original and looking forward to the sequel based on the 2600 emulation, but this looks abysmal.
