Reward systems are always great to have. Gotta say though, that we have to sign up in the first place is odd and makes this come off as disconnected. My Nintendo and Microsoft Rewards are just kinda there and automatically associated with your account because it's a part of the account.

Then get so mad for no apparent reason. Scream omg Sony doing NFT bad bad bad. Then for the next 6 weeks we will have 32 opinion pieces each day saying how bad Sony are and how anti consumer are and how Microsoft and Phill are god's.

Then it turns out it's just essentially like Steams trading cards they have done for 10 years. Then the idiots will go quiet for a few weeks until they find something else to be outraged about.

This sounds like a toss-away program that'll be gone or mostly forgotten in 2-3 years (or less).

If you have any semblance whatsoever of "loyalty" to any corporation, you should seek help. Immediately. Garbage like this, works great on the lemmings of the world.

I've been getting into a lot of rewards programs recently and it's been great. I just found out McDonald's has one too lol.

Can they do a Nintendo Stars program next where we can buy unique special goodies.

this is literally almost identical to the xbox rewards program thats been around for a while. the "campaigns" are called "quests" and the stars are called perks on xbox.

The Playstation Rewards Program is /was flawed. This new program sounds like what they should have been doing during ps4 era.

My reward is playing the game. The rest is commercial fluff for making you feel accomplished for blowing cash on their games and services. A faux complement system for being good gamers and patrons that sprinkles bread crumbs at the right time (still working on the right time part). Thoughtful rewards are better then blanket ones.

So you join, yet unless you are member, the idea of completing a game or getting a specific trophy first locally is moot unless you are or-record / a member (auth/approval of tracking your stats and contacting you in that regard).

This is gonna be interesting to see pan out at lest. Sony used to pull some cool strings for the pro hardware consumer market, they should at least do the same for those who invest a lot of time and money with them through PSN SOE.

But yes, MS rewards is amazing, I do the internet browsing using edge and bing, and try to do as much Xbox activity as possible. If Sony rewards is anything close to it I'm in for sure!

So Bing Rewards on my PS5 - I like it. Hopefully I can use the points towards subscriptions too (presumably yes, since they can be bought via the PS store).

I'm surprised neither Sony or MS have launched a rewards credit card to be honest. Similar to Apple or BestBuy. Buy things on your card, get PS/Xbox reward points.

Platinum a blockbuster title in my local time zone.... Well since I live in Alaska, and barely anyone here has a PS5, all those rewards are mine, bwuahaha.

Few might remember this but back in the PS3 days they tried a rewards program like this. Everyone who was in it got a black shirt in blue text in Japanese that said, "Thank you for trying our failed program"

I’d be more excited for this if they rewarded the people who’ve been loyal PS fans for the last 3 generations or longer. They could easily pull your account and see the thousands of dollars you’ve spent on PS over the last 20 years. Maybe at least a jump start. Thoughts?

Sony already have a rewards system. Just got PS+ Essential for free for a year with points

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
