I got excited and thought they were going to improve combat animations, combat physics, combat audio, and make it to where walls can actually stop things, but those improvements are too expensive I suppose... None of this is major or worth reinstalling this service for now.

They are nerfing light attack weaving and minimizing the gap between new players and experienced players. I guess this makes the game more “accessible”, but consequently lowers the player skill cap. There can be a substantial dps delta between a new lvl 50 just learning their class and someone with 1000s of hours of perfecting the art of weaving. As much as I personally suck at weaving, this is a stupid change…. punishing the experienced by babying the new.

Nobody should be surprised by this though. ESO has been dumbing down combat since launch. From the changing of set bonuses from percentages to flat stats to the downgraded CP system, every change has been to reward people who can't be bothered to learn the game. Hell, they don't even call Bosmer by their name anymore because that is too much for some to figure out.

Its still lightyear better than any other mmo wow is alt tab 1234 in eso you are actually challenged and maintaining the perfrct rotation and right skills is really challenging where nobody is perfect.

The change is not that big the game load screen itself encourage you to light attack weave between skills so it is still important and not going anywhere. The skill cap is much higher in eso than wow for maintaning rotation
