Some of the results were close, but in the end it is king of the hill. This at a price tag less than the ATI HD4870x2. As we all know, the introductory price tag is higher, so it may be that the cost for this kind of performance get a bit more inexpensive, if you can call over $400 dollars inexpensive. But you do have to pay to play, if you want to have the best visual performance. As a package, the GTX 295 seems to work well with the initial driver release for this product - something that not always happens. If the initial testing went this well, I look forward to seeing when the driver matures even more and how the aftermarket will adapt to cool this beast. It does offer great performance and when released to the world in January, I think heads might turn. I cant wait to see if it takes a top spot on Futuremarks Orb. If Nvidia is shooting for the stars, I think they got there."

Hope so. I believe this game deserves it the most and will definitely need a lot to overhaul compared to black flag. It's really hard for me to play this game again lol

Out of curiosity how old are you ? 2007 was a great year for gaming, and it was one of the most impressive and enjoyable games of that year, probably in the top 10 of most people.
@Aloren Assassin's Creed 1 at that time was a good looking game and in unique settings the game also hinted at an serious story but game play wise it was a short game with boring missions and basically no side activities beside flag collecting so ironically many back then played the game for story.
But the game didn’t aged as good as other heavy hitters from 2007 like bioshock, crysis, half life and etc.
If any Assassin's Creed game needs a remake its the first one. I just think the original didnt age as well as the others and could use improvements
This was one of my most hyped games back in the day only to be let down so damn bad. AC2 made up for it but yes, this is one game that doesn't just deserve a remake, it needs to be stripped down to the bare parts and completely rebuilt from the ground up because it's problems were basic and fundamental and if those things aren't fixed, no fresh coat of paint is going to fix it.

We've lost the argument in favour of games being art at this point. Maybe a remaster, some touch ups, fixes, a rerelease for modern consoles, bringing attention to the game that started it all, some appreciation. Nah just another remake. I've said this about AC4 and I'll say it for this too. Why not just go back to Altair's era and make a new game centered around him or the changes he made to the order after the events of the first game with a new protag?
Finally. Bring back Desmond and finish his story. 🤦🏾 Yall fcked up massively killing him and that future story.
