When The Sims 4 launched in 2014 with pivotal missing features, it upset gamers, and Maxis should not repeat this mistake with The Sims 5.

A new in-game platform designed to support custom content creators and help more players discover their work.

"Released February 12th, the Royalty & Legacy expansion for Sims 4 doesn’t simply layer crowns and capes onto familiar gameplay; it restructures the very foundation of social hierarchy and generational storytelling." Jas @ Thumb Culture
The Sims 4 reveals the Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack, launching February 12 with dynasties, scandals, and a new world called Ondarion.
I agree. I would probably start playing it again. Otherwise If a complete edition ever comes out I’ll start playing the sims 4.
Only way that really makes sense is if it’s not a major overhaul..
I’d hope they address stuff at a lower level to have things more flexible (like paralives is doing) there’d be no point launching a new system with a bunch of legacy content that doesn’t support the new features.
I’d also like to see a new animation and lighting system, and bigger areas, which doesn’t seem like the sort of thing that’d be compatible with reusing content, and, love it or hate it Sims 4 does have a TON of content now, so it seems u likely they could launch with everything out the gate.
Sims doesn't deserve a sequel after what they've done to the franchise with Sims 4
You should write a strongly worded letter to EA. Maybe you’ll show them that it shouldnt always be about profit. They seem like reasonable folk.
And miss out charging you for pets a 5th time? You're mental!
It'll launch barebones again, and the fanbase will eat it up.
