Amazing how pushing down the throat of the gamers the same heated soup will give them strong results ... mind you they are not stupid, we are ... (I did not buy a FIFA nor an F1 for ages, all they are doind is selling DLCs at full price with small incremantal improvements).

I'm kinda surprised this game wasn't already cross-play. Sports games seem like the perfect genre to be cross-play.
Cool to see, but I really wish they also implemented cross-gen. Seems really dumb that I have to download the PS4 version of FIFA on my PS5 in order to play with my friend who is on PS4.
Wonder if FIFA 23 or what ever it's going to he called. Will have a cross gen transfer market for UT.

Making something like Fifa truly cross play is going to massively effect hardware sales. So many gamers purchase the same system as their mates just to play together, and with Fifa being such a big seller for the general public it will be interesting to see if there's any real shift.
