I bring this up because EGM is the print publication sister of 1UP. 1UP just published that ridiculous piece of trash speculation that the end of the year was here and MGS4 might be announced for the 360. All based on the web teaser. You know, the one that had the generic power button some people ASSummed was a 360 power logo? You know the shape. It's the button on the PS3 that turns green when the PS3 is on.

Of course my sound system has the same logo. Wait, holy crap MGS4 is coming to my home theater! And my car stereo!

But I digress. The PS3 had been out less than 6 months when that EGM cover appeared. The editor at that time was Dan Hsu. A piece of crap excuse for a journalist. He stated that he actually laughed when he showed Sony executives the cover. Was there ever a 360 cover with a RROD 360 on the cover? Well? Bueller?

Okay, let's go simple. When was the last negative EGM 360 cover?

The fact is EGM and 1UP have had it in for Sony since 2005. The idea that MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive just sticks in their craw like a thorn and they can't stand it.

That poor Playstation 3 they could have given that to someone who really wanted one for the holiday season :( Those bastards...

No one has it out for the ps3 besides kotaku. 1up is maybe the most respectable site i know, why? Because they speak their mind and don't hold punches. You say they've had it out for the ps3, even though countless times on their site, blogs, and podcasts they praise the ps3 for its prowess and originality(most recent being Killzone2 and Noby Noby Boy). And yes, they "bash" the 360. Just in this last 1up yours podacts, John David talks about how his 3rd(or so) 360 broke and how he's pissed about it. Just because the site doesn't always agree with your ideals doesn't mean the site's not creditable, it just means you and the site have different views on certain subjects.

Oh, and may I add that 1up and egm contains one of the biggest Sony/RPG fanboy i know--Shane Bettenhausen

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.
