It has been 10 years since Xenoblade arrived in the US, we look back at how the game almost never showed up if not for a group of dedicated fans.

Xenoblade Chronicles series composer Manami Kiyota has possibly finished the final orchestra recording for the next Monolith Soft title.
Makes sense. It's been nearly 3 years since the DLC for 3 came out. The next Xenoblade or whatever they end up calling it will probably come out next year.
Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch 2 adds 60fps gameplay and up to 4K resolution through a $4.99 upgrade pack now available digitally.
Playing it right now! It is awesome! Good thing I held myself back from buying this last year. Now I can't wait for XC2 and XC3 to have the same enhancements and upgrade.
Honestly, it’s kind of bizarre how rough native Switch players had it with this game for years. Aside from the original Wii U release, Xenoblade has pretty much been a series that felt better on emulators than on the actual hardware, mainly because of the blurry image quality and unstable frame rates.
It’s good to finally see an official version of the game that doesn’t look terrible and apparently is stable.
This is exactly why hardware matters to a decent extent.
It effectively took a 900p@30fps, maxed it to 1080p, then used DLSS to upscale it 4x in resolution to render at 4K, while also doubling frame rate.

Nintendo has put eight different Switch games on sale, including Super Mario RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda: Link's Awakening, and more.
I wish The Last Story would make a comeback.I played it years before I got around to Xenoblade. Mainly because of the scalping going on because of Xeno's limited run. It took me a few tries to get into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. A Wii hidden gem for sure.
Xenoblade went on to be a really successful franchise too.
I wish the Last Story get a Switch remaster or remake. That game deserves a second chance
