PCGH tests if performance benefits in games delivered by new drivers is achieved by downgrading the visual quality. They compare the latest Catalyst and Geforce drivers with the previous version. Furthermore they compared the visual quality between Geforce and Radeon.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I might have to get a new Radeon gfx card instead of using my current Radeon 9600...
I scoured every single one of those damned images, and not one shows me any real difference that would make me pick one over the other at all.
Although in Left 4 Dead, ATI does have the better lighting.
The only thing that matters now is framerates...because visual quality is pretty much identical between brands now. I mean come on...look at all those images and I dare you to tell me there's any real difference.
what a waste of time
In Left 4 Dead, dynamic shadows are better on ATI cards while texture detail seems sharper on NVIDIA cards.
well if i had to recommend anyone a card to pick up right now, it would be the GTX260 core 216 SC Edition, its a real upgrade over the regular 260 and in most cases, not all games of course, it will beat out the 4870 and sometimes it will even beat the regular 280. The price is between 250-290.
In regard to temp and power consumption the card is simply amazing.
I have nothing against the 4870, i simply prefer Nvidia, so you could easily buy the 4870 and get practically the same results, maybe just a little higher temps but its mostly the same.
As for the 4870x2, the card may be a monster, but the thing its just TOO DAMM HOT, i can reach more than 90C!, thats definetely not good for your computer, so i personally dont recommended. If you have the money i prefer Sli or crossfire than one of those Dual cards
