@ Why o Why - I think the reason you see that is because Sony Fanboys are constantly proclaiming unreleased games are major system sellers and are the death of the 360 - when actual sales (proof) comes out - MS fanboys enjoy rubbing it in Sony fanboys faces.

You can't say that you have not read on here the constant comments how R2 was going to destroy Gears2...or LBP was going to be a major system seller and shorten the xbox lead dramatically...so long as Sony fanboys keep making stupid statements like that - then MS fanboys are going to pull the numbers once they come out and rub it in Sony fanboys faces.

Fanboys on both sides have to stop with the "x" game is going to destroy "y" game or "x/p" console....And sony fans are well known to create unrealistic HYPE for their games before they are even released.

not sure what came first but. Many 360 guys dont rate ANY ps3 exclusive not because of any hype but because they cant play them. We have more exclusives so that tends to garner more hate. ps3 guys hate on the few exclusives u have true but the just check the comments on killzone 2 threads then get back to me about hype vs hate. I like gears but i dont like halo3. I like fable but thought ninja g 2 was sh!te. I will play braid and that dishwasher game when they release it. There are some games i dislike and things about the ps3 i dislike and i feel fine saying so but some guys on both sides feel their console of chpice can do NO wrong and have dedicated their lives to be defenders/attackers like tools.

Is there anything you dislike about the 360??? Are there even ANY games that interest you on the ps3?????

This fanboy thing would cool off a little if the vocal ones like yourself would act a little more like gamers who can have a laugh rather than emotional, hair trigger parents of their consoles

Will 360 guys ever admit that the ps3 has more quality titles....i doubt it. Will ps3 guys admit that xbl is still ahead.... i doubt that also but fanning flames in a serious way or ALWAYS blaming 'them/others' is pointless and doesn't help. Yeah its fun but u have to draw a line and separate fun and banter from idiocy and ignorance. Go play MGS 4 on ur mates ps3. If anybody doesnt know somebody who owns other consoles then your a loser period.

I own a PS3 and i have MGS4, LBP, Eye of Judgement and Lair. And here is a kicker for ya....I LIKE LAIR (anything with dragons is cool).

However this is not about Hate vs. Hype - this is about rubbing end results into peoples faces who make pathetic claims about games and consoles before the proof is even out.

Bottom line - Sony fanboys make outlandish claims about games being so great before they are released - then MS fanboys rub it in their faces if the games don't live up to Sony fanboys expectations. To stop this vicious cycle - If Sony fanboys stop making claimes before the game is released then MS fanboys won't be able to rub numbers in their faces if the games don't measure up to the HYPE and outlandish claimes that Sony Fanboys make...Plain and simple.

And again its not about MS fanboys admitting to the quality of the games on the PS3 as we all know there are - however, since anyone can claimes with their own opinion what games are great and what is not - there must be a neutral way of measuring the quality of each game - thus comes in reviews, sales, and averages. And sorry but your comment "Will 360 guys ever admit that the ps3 has more quality titles holds not ground - since i own both consoles i can say IMHO that the PS3 does have quality games - just not as much as the 360. Games like MGS4 to me didn't constitute the money i paid as it has over 9 hours of cut scenes and can be finished in 4 hours and is also on a 50 gig blu-ray disc...sorry but for me i need more game in my games to constitute a purchase - so i was rather let down from the game - LBP i do like and is fun - however i will always play games like Halo, Gears and soon to be KZ2 before i put LBP in...

but i would like to settle a few differences over streetfighter hd remix or killzone 2.

Like i said, chicken or the egg, what came first.... my point is it doesnt matter. Every single thing you just accused ps3 guys being, doing can be said about the 360 guys. What..... so 360 guys dont hype games nah?? Maybe you're confusing excitement and hype. What would be the point of n4g if we didnt get excited about games. If a games in the opposite consoles section how would you know and have have you never noticed the same in the 360 only section. Thats really strange to me. Also i do agree i see it on both sides since both sides have their rotten apples - however N4G is highly more populated with Sony fanboys and from what i have read - Sony fanboys turn excitement into Hype, then Hype into "outlandish claimes and predictions". I don't think it matters who started it. its ok to be excited about a game - once you make outlandish claims then the other team is going to throw the end result in your face it your claimes didn't meet the expectations.
