One fan decided to take matters into their own hands, as an Elden Ring side quests tracker app was created called the "Shattered Ring."

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 appears on Amazon as a game key card, priced at $79.99 with expansion included.
Before anyone complains, this is the same price on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. It comes with the Game and the DLC.
A newly uncovered piece of cut content from Elden Ring has revealed an intriguing plot thread that never made it into the final game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 mod turns the game into Elden Ring, adding spells, boss fights, and Uncle as the final boss.
Absolutely no quest log is a bit extreme imo but elden ring made its point and I appreciate it. I’m not even a “from guy” or easily swayed by consensus but this game hit me in the feels. It made me recognize my programming. I wouldn’t use a quest tracker in this game but a less cluttered hud and player trust are not bad things to imitate industry wide. I hope it catches on.
Shattered ring sounds like something DIRTY 😂
Ubi devs are all over this. Maybe they will have fun with the game now?
It has been many years since I played a game that I needed to take notes for. I'm enjoying it. I think a basic journal would have been cool as well, but I think what From does works just fine. Very glad the map isn't constantly clogged up with icons and to-do's. I only have the most basic experience with the whole souls like thing. If I can make it through this game I plan on going back and playing DS 1 and 3. Maybe Sekiro as well, but I think my mid 30s reflexes may not be up to that task.
I mean you do you I guess, but the point of the "quests" is not to follow a predetermined marker but to explore and find said person just out there somewhere, keeping track for yourself where they may be going to next. Alexander for examples says he's going east, and so he's basically telling you to go that way to find out what's there. If a quest just said "go that way to find Alexander" and tells you where it is, that just puts you on the straight path and sucks out all the fun from exploring.
